tooya has the incredible honor to be selected to develop the logo and a new visual system for mingei international museum based in san diego in california. the type design is based on the cigar dress (part of the collection), square intersections combined create this amazing grid. the mingei mono spaced font is truly inspired by a fixed width, square after square.
